The Sustainable Practices Guidelines provide practical guidance for youth organizations seeking to integrate sustainability into their everyday work and support young people in adopting more environmentally responsible behaviours. Developed within the GreenGuard project, the publication combines recommendations on transparent communication, youth participation and sustainable organizational practices with practical tools addressing water conservation, energy use, carbon footprint reduction, green procurement, waste management and biodiversity. The guidelines also help organizations and young people distinguish genuine environmental action from greenwashing.
