Terms of use

These terms govern the use of the website of Pannonia Consulting d.o.o., Ljudevita Posavskog 6, 35400 Nova Gradiška, Croatia, OIB 40964427563 (“Pannonia”), of the user account, of the eCourses section and of the Pannonia Learning Builder tool. By using the site and opening an account you accept these terms. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy policy.

User account

An account is free and is opened with your first and last name, an e-mail address and a password. The name of your organisation is optional. Every registration is approved by the administrator. Once you have filled in the form, the account waits for approval and cannot be signed in to until then. We let you know the decision by e-mail. Approval gives you the role of Learner, which grants access to the eCourses section. If we do not approve the request, the account is deleted and we tell you that as well.

  • Accounts may be opened by people over the age of 16.
  • The details you enter should be accurate; the account is personal and is not to be passed on to others.
  • Keeping your password safe is your responsibility. If you suspect someone has obtained it, change it at once and let us know.
  • One person opens one account.

You may ask for your account to be deleted at any time at info@pannonia-consulting.hr.

eCourses

Courses are available to signed-in users. Some courses are public and open to everyone with an account; others are private and visible only to their author and the administrator.

  • Your progress through the lessons and the results of the knowledge checks stay in your browser. If you clear your browser data or sign in from another device, your progress will not carry over.
  • The certificate of completion is issued at the end of a course and confirms that you completed it in our system. It is not an official public document and does not replace a formal qualification.
  • We may add to, change or withdraw course content, for instance when regulations change or when the project a course came out of comes to an end.

Course content is intended for your own learning. Without our written permission you may not download it for further distribution, publish it elsewhere, or use it to deliver paid training of your own.

Pannonia Learning Builder

The Learning Builder is a tool for creating online courses. Access does not come with registration; it is granted on request and with the administrator’s approval. Once approved, you receive the role of Course author.

Limits

  • Without separate approval an author may hold one course. Further courses are approved by the administrator, on a request sent from within the tool.
  • A single course may take up at most 200 MB, and the course text at most 5 MB.
  • Uploaded images are automatically reduced to at most 1920 pixels on the longer side.
  • Videos are not uploaded to our server. They are placed in a course only as links to YouTube or Vimeo.
  • Exporting a course and publishing it to the eCourses catalogue is a separate permission, granted by the administrator independently of the right to build courses.

Responsibility for content

The author is responsible for everything they put into a course. By entering content, the author warrants that:

  • they hold all the necessary rights to the text, images and other material they publish, including copyright and the right to use photographs,
  • the content is not unlawful, offensive or misleading and does not infringe the rights of others,
  • they do not enter other people’s personal data into a course without a valid legal basis,
  • the content carries no malicious code.

Pannonia does not review course content in advance and is not responsible for its accuracy or completeness, nor for the consequences of acting on it. If we find that content breaches these terms or the law, we may hide or remove it and withdraw the author’s permission to work in the tool, without prior notice where that is necessary.

Ownership of courses

  • A course an author creates belongs to that author. They may export it at any time and use it outside this website.
  • Courses created by Pannonia’s administrators belong to Pannonia and are signed with the company’s name.
  • By publishing a course to the eCourses catalogue, the author grants Pannonia a non-exclusive right to display it on this website for as long as it remains published.

Publishing, hiding and deletion

  • The author decides whether a published course is public or private.
  • The administrator may hide a course. A hidden course stays private even if the author publishes it again.
  • Publishing creates a copy of the course as it stands at that moment; later changes appear only after it is published again.
  • Deleting a project in the tool also deletes its published version in the catalogue, together with the uploaded images. This cannot be undone.

What is not allowed

  • attempting to reach other people’s accounts, courses or data,
  • circumventing limits, overloading or disrupting the site,
  • introducing malicious code or exploiting security weaknesses,
  • automated harvesting of content without our permission.

Availability of the service

We do our best to keep the site and the tools available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Interruptions are possible from time to time, for maintenance, upgrades or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for indirect damage, lost profit, or for data lost because a user kept no copy of their own material. We advise authors to export a copy of their course from time to time.

Ending your use

You may stop using the service at any time and ask for your account to be deleted. If you breach these terms, we may restrict or withdraw your access to the account and the tool. Where it is reasonably possible, we will notify an author in advance so that they can export their courses.

Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms, for instance when we introduce a new service or tool. The date of the last change is given at the top of the page, and we will announce any significant change on the site or by e-mail to account holders. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia. We will try to settle any dispute by agreement; failing that, the competent court at Pannonia’s registered seat has jurisdiction.
