A mentoring placement in Croatia within the Erasmus+ ARCHILAB project

Within the Erasmus+ project ARCHILAB – eLearning Architects: Designing the Future of the Labor Market, a mentoring placement was held in Croatia, aimed at strengthening practical knowledge and digital competences in e-learning and the development of educational content.

The activity was organised as a structured five-day placement with mentor support, so that participants could see for themselves how digital educational content is planned, organised and developed. Through practical work they became familiar with using the project’s non-formal curriculum, with the digital tools developed in the project, and with the basics of shaping and adapting content for online learning.

The placement put particular emphasis on understanding how eLearning content is developed, on working with digital platforms and tools, on structuring modules for online learning, and on using feedback to improve one’s own work. It also included reflection and evaluation, so that participants could recognise their own progress and strengthen their professional competences further.

The placement is fully in line with the aims of ARCHILAB, which works to develop an innovative non-formal programme for future eLearning architects, to build digital skills and to improve employability in digital education. Carrying it out confirmed once more how much it matters to connect theory with practical experience and to create opportunities for building competences that today’s labour market actually asks for.
