Green Guard: a digital space for real environmental change

As project partners we present Green Guard, a new Android application available on the Google Play store. Green Guard is a digital platform made for young people, youth workers and organisations who want to contribute actively to real environmental change and to support sustainable initiatives.

In the application, users can share posts, photographs and stories about their own environmental projects, follow the work of associations and connect with others in the community. A messaging function makes it easier to coordinate activities, exchange experience and work together on sustainability projects. Green Guard also offers educational content, resources and news that help in recognising false green promises (greenwashing) and encourage support for initiatives that genuinely protect the environment. The platform is meant for young people and organisations looking for a constructive, practical and safe space to share knowledge and act together. Particular care has gone into safety and a culture of dialogue: users can report content that breaks the shared rules, and constructive, respectful communication is encouraged.

The team at Pannonia Consulting d.o.o. takes part as a project partner in developing the Green Guard project and this application, helping turn the idea into a practical tool that strengthens the community and prompts real change.
